I've been doing visual identity, photography, video and digital design for a good ten years now, based in Bologna. I started out shooting photos of friends and designing logos just to pay for equipment, and the work grew alongside me — these days the clients are bigger and more established, but the way I work hasn't really changed: figure out what the project actually needs first, then get to it. I've never wanted to specialize in just one thing — one month I'm designing a logo, the next I'm on a shoot or fixing up a website, and every so often I pull out the 3D tools too, when I need to show something that doesn't exist yet.
